"After looking at the scope and sequence sent from the first meetings, I continue to be concerned with the focus on grades and the historical perspective. To that end, I am proposing a different format with changes to the topics which allow greater flexibility to the areas covered. Each area could then have a topic based on the overall topic. Please let me know what you think."

Definition of Scope & Sequence
A curriculum plan, usually in chart form, in whic a range of instructional objectvies, skills, etc. are organized according to the successive evels at which they are taught; a listing of skills that are taught at each grade level.
